Suzuki has unveiled numerous uncomparable concepts at the ongoing rebadged Japan Mobility Show 2023 earlier known as Tokyo Mobility Show in Tokyo. Albeit, the official event for people is going to start tomorrow, but today the press was the first to witness great aversions and innovative automobiles firsthand. Along with many others, the new-gen Swift concept, updated version of the electric eVX SUV concept and the eWX left people awestruck. But, their pure electric compact car perfectly styled like WagonR, eWX was unveiled. Furthermore, Suzuki has also showcased futuristic approved future vehicles referring to commercial vehicle segments on its home motoring show.
So, how did the Suzuki eWX EV manage to stand out? Well, this model plays a significant role in the shift to electric vehicles, focusing on customers primarily residing in urban areas due to its extended driving range, affordability, and compact size. In markets such as Japan, where Kei cars have already achieved remarkable success, the eWX concept is regarded as a highly strategic move forward.

Suzuki eWX EV Specifications
Measuring approximately 3395 mm in length, 1475 mm in width, and with a height of 1620 mm, it is classified as a compact Wagon EV. Positioned as a fusion of a "fun and practical mini wagon," in line with Suzuki's portfolio of small cars, it embodies a blend of various aspects. Suzuki's objective is to deliver a practical, everyday EV, and this concept serves as a clear precursor to that vision.
Suzuki has confirmed that the eWX concept can cover a distance of 230 kilometers on a single charge, emphasizing its suitability for urban settings. The eWX concept's high pillars and boxy design give it a futuristic WagonR EV appearance. It also appears that Suzuki intends to electrify a significant portion of its popular internal combustion engine (ICE) lineup in the coming years.
The Suzuki eWX concept boasts several notable exterior features, including an illuminated Suzuki emblem, C-shaped lighting elements connected by LED light strips at the front, side mirrors, window surrounds, neon accents on the bumper, and alloy wheels. Additionally, there are red highlights on the rear bumper. The cabin is equipped with a compact two-spoke steering wheel and a wide display screen.
If we compare the interior details to exterior specs, the interior of the eWX is mated with inner door handles, neon accents on the dashboard, and seats. It also includes a floating center console featuring controls for power windows, a rotary dial, and distinctive indicators on the upright dashboard.
