Bollywood Star Suniel Shetty adds a BMW X5 to his SUV collection of iconic Hummer H3 and Jeep Wrangler

Suniel Shetty's name is revered by Bollywood fans for his epic performances. The Mysore-born actor made his debut in the movie Balwaan in the year 1992 and achieved remarkable success in the cut-throat Bollywood industry. Intense action sequences, emotive dialogue delivery were the key reasons behind Suniel’s movies resounding success. He is not much visible in the cinematic world but continues to draw admirable glances at media events. Shetty’s memorable performance in Dhadkan received critical acclaim while receiving Filmfare Award for the same. Recently, the actor added a stunning BMW X5 to his burgeoning car collection.

The movie actor turned entrepreneur also has the iconic Hummer H3 which is used by the US Miltary in its various campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan. BMW X5 is one of the premium SUV's being sold in the Indian market currently. Its xDrive 30d Sport variant is priced at Rs 74.9 lakhs with the top-end model Drive 40i M Sport retailing at Rs 84.4 lakhs. Both the prices are ex-showroom, India. Talking about the features of the X5, you have the signature BMW Laserlight headlamps with adaptive function, 12.3-inch digital cluster and 12.3 inch-HD infotainment touchscreen with IDrive. The SUV further supports compatibility for Apple CarPlay and boasts of features like 4-zone automatic climate control, 16-speaker surround system and a panoramic sunroof. 

BMW X5 is a powerful SUV with two engine options - a 3.0-litre inline-six petrol and a 3.0-litre-inline-six diesel. The petrol unit delivers 336 bhp of maximum power output and 450 Nm of peak torque. While the diesel engine produces 261 bhp of power and 620 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties are handled by 8-speed automatic gearbox.
