The 2021 Jeep Compass facelift will have its official unveiling on January 7

Ace Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood has featured in the teaser of the upcoming 2021 Jeep Compass facelift. The Bollywood superstar appears in the teaser with a placard that reads, "Ordinary Can’t Help Thousands of People Get Home. Live Legendary.” For those asking, Sood earned a lot of respect from people when he helped thousands of migrant labourers reach their homes during the draconian lockdown. The 2021 Jeep Compass facelift will have its official unveiling on January 7 while the price announcement and deliveries will take place on January 23.

Jeep India has started teasing the Compass facelift on its various social media handles ahead of the launch. It will come with substantial cosmetic updates both outside and inside the cabin, considering the fact that it is a mid-cycle facelift. As for styling, the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift will flaunt new headlamp design with LED DRLs and a redesigned seven-slat honeycomb grille upfront. The front bumper also receives a few tweaks alongside the faux skid plates and huge air dam. Riding on newly-designed five-spoke alloy wheels, the new SUV will also get restyled fog lamp units. The cabin will be finished in an all-black upholstery with double stitched leather inserts.

As far as interior features are concerned, the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift will boast of wireless smartphone charging, 360 degree parking camera, 3-spoke steering wheel, ventilated front seats, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UConnect 5 connected car technology. The touchscreen unit will be compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa. Mechanically, the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift will be identical to the ongoing version with both the 1.4L petrol and 2.0L diesel returning at the helm of affairs. Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard while a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and 6-speed torque converter automatic unit will be available with petrol and diesel engines, respectively, as option.
