Smartron launched its second-generation e-bike Tbike OneX in the country. The price starts at Rs 38000 excluding GST. Talking about the e-bike, it is built as a multi-modular, multi-purpose, and multi-utility vehicle primarily targeting rideshare and delivery markets.


Furthermore, the Tbike OneX is powered by the tronX platform. This particular platform is in conjunction with the Tbike app and Tlock. It further offers a range of customized fleet and rider management features. It can be easily integrated into the existing IT systems of rideshare and delivery service providers wherein one can access remote vehicle monitoring & diagnostics and real-time business intelligence such as asset utilization, battery status, asset location, remote lock/unlock, geofencing etc. Besides this, the electric bike can achieve up to 25 kmph speed. It can cover 100km+ with battery swapping and onboard charging options.

While tbike oneX is designed for the rideshare market, we envision it being used for lifestyle, tourism, e-commerce, e-pharmacies, e-groceries etc. We expanded our target geos and started exporting tbikes to several countries in Africa, UK/Ireland, Bhutan, and Mexico,” as commented by Mahesh Lingareddy, Founder, and Chairman, Smartron.

The Tbike OneX is the first multi-purpose e-bike that caters to B2B segments. It further comes with magnesium alloy wheels, puncture-proof tyres, and a lifetime warranty on the frame. Talking about the bike’s frame, it is designed using aluminum. The e-bike is completely designed and engineered in India. This eliminates the current supply chain and logistics challenges faced by companies trying to import bikes from China and other countries.
