Skoda Slavia is the second model by the brand under India 2.0 project

Skoda Auto is all set to launch the Slavia in the country. The automaker plans to announce the price of the sedan on two separate days. Having said that, Slavia 1.0-litre TSI will be launched on February 28 at 11 AM. While the price announcement of Skoda Slavia 1.5-litre TSI will be made on March 3. Talking about the test drives and customer deliveries, they will commence on the respective launch dates.


“Despite the industry challenges, I am happy to share that we are delivering on our committed timelines for the launch of both the 1.0 L and 1.5 L Skoda Slavia. Test-drives and Customer deliveries to commence with the respective launch dates,” as commented by Zac Hollis, Brand Director, ŠKODA AUTO India.

Skoda Slavia is the second model by the European brand under the INDIA 2.0 project. The luxury sedan features LED headlamps and LED tail lamp cluster. Furthermore, it is going to be the broadest sedan in its segment with a width of 1752 mm. The feature highlights include a free-standing 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartLink technology and MyŠKODA Connect, climate control with AirCare function, front ventilated seats, and many more. The safety kit comprises six airbags, Multi-Collision Brake, Hill-Hold Control, cruise control, Tyre Pressure Monitor System, ESC, ISOFIX anchors, and rain & light sensors. 


Under the hood, the upcoming Slavia will get two petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo unit will generate a top power of 113 bhp. The 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo motor, on the other hand, will produce 147 bhp power. Transmission duties will be taken care of by a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic, and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
