The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo special edition is back with an updated avatar. The Czech carmaker has priced the new edition at Rs. 11.15 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom) for the petrol MT variant, Rs. 12.35 lakhs for the petrol AT variant, Rs. 12.99 lakhs for the diesel MT variant and Rs. 14.25 lakhs for the diesel AT variant. It comes with cosmetic changes and new features.
The Rapid Monte Carlo edition comes with black exterior elements such as the front grille, black ORVMs, 16-inch Clubber alloys, gloss black B-Pillars with Monte Carlo logo, black roof, black tailgate spoiler and black rear diffuser. The interiors come with black art leather and red contrast stitching offering a sporty appeal. It gets stainless steel foot pedals, scuff plates and piano black centre console.
Some of the features include 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, rear parking camera, etc. The Rapid Monte Carlo comes with dual front airbags and ABS as standard. The auto variants also get electronic stability control and hill hold assist. The engine options are the same 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel.
