Skoda India has launched the Octavia RS 245 at a sticker price of Rs 35.99 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. The company will retail it as CBU while limited to just 200 units. Skoda also unveiled the Superb facelift and many other vehicles at the 2020 Auto Expo. Skoda Octavia RS 245 is a high-performance sedan with no direct rival in the Indian market. The Czech Republican based automaker also announced the launch of Vision IN SUV in 2020 and a new budget-friendly sedan in 2021.
As for features, Skoda Octavia RS 245 will come with all LED lighting, VRS body kit and blacked out elements including the ORVMs and grille while riding on 18-inch alloy wheels. The cabin features VRS-spec flat bottom steering wheel, VRS logo on the front headrests and dual tone seats with contrast stitching.
Under the hood, it has a BS 6 compliant 2.0L direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine which belts out 245bhp and 370Nm. The engine is linked to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission while it does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 6.6 seconds and clocking a top speed of 250kmph.
