It is expected to be priced in the range of ₹27-30 lakh.

Skoda recently slipped us a little view of its new Skoda Kodiaq SUV being tested uncovered on Indian roads. The Kodiaq is Skoda's seven-seat SUV and is one of the few vehicles that the Czech automaker will be releasing in India this year. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 27-30 lakh.

The Kodiaq's design is inspired by the Skoda Superb and is also built on the Volkswagen Group’s diverse MQB platform. It is expected to come to India with a 180hp 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel unit that could be offered in two different states making 150hp and 190hp. Gearbox options are expected to include a six-speed manual alongside Skoda’s seven-speed DSG automatic unit. Additionally, top models are set to feature all-wheel drive. The SUV measures 4,697mm in length, 1,676mm in height and 1,882mm in width and has a wheelbase that’s 2,791mm long.

Other features of the car include LED headlights, an eight-inch touch-screen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, Adaptive Cruise Control, wireless charging, 19-inch wheels and a panoramic sunroof. Expect the look and feel of the car to be premium as it is positioned above the Superb sedan.
