Skoda is strengthening their SUV portfolio in a short span of time with the Kodiaq, Karoq and now the Kamiq. Recently the Czech carmaker teased the new Kamiq compact SUV by revealing the sketches of the car. Now, Skoda Auto has released the interior images of the production spec Kamiq and it reveals a lot of details of the upcoming compact SUV from Skoda.
The dashboard design as expected is simple yet classy and goes with their motto of 'Simply Clever'. It is styled with a layered dashboard with dark colour elements for a sporty and youthful feel. There are sharp lines running across the dashboard. The steering wheel is quite familiar and so is the Virtual Cockpit all-digital instrument cluster of the car.
The big highlight of the interior is the huge floating touchscreen infotainment system which has a huge 10.5-inch display. It is one of the biggest in that segment and will offer the latest features including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The new Skoda Kamiq will make its debut at the upcoming 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
