The crossover will be positioned below the Karoq and Kodiaq in Skoda's SUV family.

The new car will be built on parent company Volkswagen’s MQB A0 platfrom and will sit below the slightly larger Karoq.

The new car will be named along the same theme as the Alaskan-themed Karoq and Kodiaq and should wear similar design language. The upcoming car is expected to be a car-based crossover and will most likely look like a cross between an estate and an SUV.

Engines and transmission have not been confirmed yet, but the company will most likely introduce hybrid versions as well. The company is currently evaluating bringing the Karoq SUV to India as well.
