Royal Enfield Motorcycle has launched the much-anticipated Meteor 350 today at an introductory price of Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the cruiser motorcycle goes as high as Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new bike is replacing the Royal Enfield's Thunderbird 350X in the Indian market, as it goes up against the like of Honda H'ness CD350 and Jawa Motorcycle in its segment.  



The All-New Meteor 350 is offered in three variants namely Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. In terms of design, the bike features a halogen bulb with LED light guides, an LED tail-lamp with ring-type light for better visibility, forward set footpegs, a classic teardrop 15-liter tank, and raised handlebars. Furthermore, the cruiser motorcycle offers a twin-pod semi-digital instrument console. The main circular instrument cluster is placed towards the left. It comprises of an analog speedometer and a small in-built digital display. Plus there is a small colour screen on the right side that displays turn-by-turn navigation and time. All three variants of Royal Enfield Meteor 350 get the Tripper Navigation system as a standard fitment. It connects up with the Royal Enfiled app which is powered by Google Maps. The navigation device employs a colour TFT screen. It basically indicates directions along with the distance. It gets a day and night mode display for better convenience. The 350cc cruiser motorcycle also offers a USB charging port on its left switchgear. 


Apart from the above-mentioned features, the base Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball variant also gets blacked-out components, a single-color fuel tank, machined cooling fins, body graphics, and coloured wheel rims. The mid-spec Meteor 350 Stellar trim, on the other hand, provides body-coloured components, premium badges, chrome elements, and a backrest. Lastly, the top-end Royal Enfield Supernova caters to toggle switches, premium seat upholstery with more circumference for the rider, a large windshield, and chrome turn signals. 


Mechanically, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by an all-new J-series 349cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that churns out a maximum power of 20.2 bhp @6100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm @4000 rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. According to the manufacturer, the Meteor's engine features a Primary Balancer Shaft that reduces vibrations making the engine very refined. Furthermore, the bike also gets a 19-inch alloy wheel in the front while the rear stands to provide a 17 inch. The two-wheeler sits on a twin downtube spine frame. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm telescopic front forks with 130mm travel upfront and twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers with 6-step adjustable pre-load towards the rear. In terms of brakes, the bike gets a 300mm disc with a twin-piston floating caliper up front and a 270mm disc single-piston floating caliper at the rear. 


The New Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is offered in a total of seven colour options namely Fireball Yellow, Fireball Red, Stellar Red Metallic, Stellar Black Matte, Stellar Blue Metallic, Supernova Brown Dual-Tone and Supernova Blue Dual-Tone.
