First lady officer to purchase a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650; clearly explains her reason for doing so

There are a lot of women out there who enjoy riding bikes. Royal Enfield Motorcycles, an iconic two-wheeler brand that symbolizes power and machoness, is best known for its retro-look and comfortable riding seating position. In order to bridge the gender gap, the brand is now working towards changing the ownership pattern. Recently, a video was released by biker Prakash Choudhary on his YouTube channel. The video is basically about a lady police officer taking the delivery of her Interceptor 650. Furthermore, in the video, the police officer was seen riding the motorcycles on the streets along with two Royal Enfield Himalayan riders. The vlogger was seen congratulating the lady officer on the purchase of the new bike.

The main aim behind purchasing a Royal Enfield bike was to prove that women are equally capable of riding the bike. The lady officer is quite a two-wheeler fanatic. Earlier she had a scooter. Then in 2015, she purchased her first 350cc Royal Enfield. Following this, in 2017, she bought a 500cc Royal Enfield. Apart from being a bike enthusiast, the officer is also dedicated to her work. She even uses her motorcycle at night to patrol the streets and for this, she has received appreciation from her seniors numerous times. Before purchasing the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, she was not convinced about the weight of the bike. She rode the motorcycle and even loved it. But was quite confused when it came to purchasing it. At the end, her fellow riders convinced her to buy it.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is powered by a BS6 compliant 650cc, twin-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The motor produces a maximum power output of 47 bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque. It comes linked to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is priced in the range of Rs 2.66 lakh - Rs 2.87 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike gets a retro design. It is offered in six colors namely Orange Crush, Silver Spectre, Mark 3, Ravishing Red, Baker Express, and Glitter & Dust.
