The leading two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield has revealed the much-awaited Royal Enfield Bear 650 bike ahead of its official launch at EICMA 2024. The all-new Royal Enfield Bear is the fifth 650-cc bike to take inspiration from the 650 Twin platform. Apart from the new model, other bikes like the Interceptor 650, Super Meteor 650, Continental GT 650, and the Shotgun 650 are also based on the same platform.
The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is based on the outgoing Interceptor 650. The bike comes equipped with a host of premium mechanical components and advanced features. The price of the all-new Royal Enfield model will be revealed at the forthcoming EICMA, which is scheduled to be held on November 5, 2024. Royal Enfield will launch the Bear 650 bike in five color schemes. The brand is also going to offer 30+ accessories with the new Bear 650, enabling customers to further personalize the bike as per their preference.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Features
Just like the Shotgun, the Royal Enfield Bear 650 comes equipped with Showa USD forks. The bike’s overall suspension is higher, and the front brake disc size is larger compared to the Interceptor. The rest of the cycle parts have been borrowed from the standard Interceptor. The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is packed with dual-channel ABS as standard and a full-color TFT screen along with an inbuilt navigation system. Interestingly, in the 650 Twin range, the Bear 650-cc is the first motorcycle to feature all-LED lighting as standard.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Design
In terms of design language, the Royal Enfield Bear 650 features a similar silhouette we have seen in the Interceptor 650. However, it has been tweaked accordingly to achieve scrambler-like performance. The bike looks cooler than the Interceptor, all thanks to its paint scheme. There’s a number board on the side panels and a scrambler-styled seat, further enhancing the bike’s look. The motorcycle comes equipped with spoke wheels shod by MRF Nylorex off-road tyres. It misses out on tubeless spoke wheels, which are available in other Royal Enfield models.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Powertrain
Powering the upcoming Royal Enfield Bear is a 650cc parallel-twin motor that is tuned to churn out a peak power of 47 bhp and a maximum torque of 57 Nm. The Bear 650 comes loaded with a new two-into exhaust system, bringing the weight down marginally. For braking duties, the bike features a 270 mm disc at the rear and a 320 mm disc up front. The weight of the new Bear 650 is 2 kg lighter than the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 with a seat height of 830 mm.
