Renault Kiger becomes the most fuel-efficient B-SUV to purchase this festive season

Renault made an announcement that its sub-4 metre compact SUV, Kiger becomes the most fuel-efficient B-SUV to purchase this festive season. Performance-wise, Renault Kiger is offered with two engine options - 1.0L Energy and 1.0L Turbo. The 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine churns out a top power of 99 bhp and a peak torque of 160 Nm. The engine is further mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This particular engine has been claimed to offer an ARAI-certified 20.5 kmpl mileage which is best-in-segment. Furthermore, the motor has been tested for reliability and longevity. It further offers the latest technological innovations that are already present on the Clio and the Captur in Europe. Besides this, the SUV also comes with two pedal offerings - AMT & CVT, which are further complemented by Multi-sense drive modes. Having said this, the Kiger comes with three drive modes - Eco, Normal, & Sport. 


Renault Kiger was launched in the Indian market earlier this year. The compact SUV is offered in the price range of Rs 5.64 lakh - Rs 10.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It is further available in a total of five trims namely RXE, RXL, RXT, RXT (O) & RXZ. 

In terms of features, the Kiger comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen unit compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, PM 2.5 air purifier, wireless smartphone charger, four airbags, LED headlamps, C-shaped LED tail lamps, Arkamys 3D sound system, automatic AC, 16-inch alloy wheels, and ABS with EBD. 


Besides these, Renault launched the new RXT(O) trim of Kiger to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in the Indian market. This was further accompanied by attractive schemes and promotions for all the customers. The automaker was offering maximum benefits of up to Rs 1,30,000 on select variants across its product range. Potential customers can avail of these offers while purchasing a new Renault vehicle. Additionally, the brand had rolled out 10 unique Loyalty Rewards with maximum loyalty benefits of up to Rs 1,10,000 to mark 10 years celebration.
