Renault Kiger was launched last month in India; 1100 units of Kiger delivered on the opening day of sales

Renault India has commenced the sales and deliveries of its Kiger SUV across the authorized dealerships in the country from today onwards. To everyone’s surprise, the automaker has successfully delivered 1100 units of Kiger to customers across the nation on the very first day itself. The SUV was launched in the country last month in the price range of Rs 5.45 lakhs - Rs 9.55 lakhs (ex-showroom). The interested buyers can book the Kiger either via the official website or by directly going to Renault’s dealerships pan India.

Talking about the newly launched Renault Kiger, it is offered in four trims - RXE, RXL, RXT & RXZ. Furthermore, it is available in six color options namely Caspian Blue, Radiant Red, Moonlight Silver, Planet Grey, Ice Cool White, and Mahogany Brown. The all-new Kiger comes with two engine options under the bonnet. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated, inline 3-cylinder petrol unit generates 70 bhp power and 96 Nm torque. The engine can be availed with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT as an option. On the other hand, the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol unit dishes out a maximum power of 98 bhp. Talking about the torque output, the engine develops 160 Nm with a 5-speed manual gearbox and 152 Nm with a CVT gearbox.
