Royal Enfield has announced the price of Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 for the European market.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 are one of the most anticipated bikes of recent times. These bikes are scheduled to launch in India on November 14, meanwhile, the bike maker has announced the prices of the bike for the European market. The bikes will be available from early 2019 and it will come with three years warranty.

The bike is priced at 6400 Euros (Rs. 5.33 lakh) for the Interceptor and 6600 Euros (Rs. 5.49 lakh) for the Continental GT. But in Spain, Italy and Portugal the price is a bit less at 6200 Euros (Rs. 5.16 lakh) for the Interceptor 650 and 6400 Euros (Rs 5.33 lakh) for the Continental GT 650.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 gets a raised handlebar and a flat seat. Whereas, the GT 650 comes with clip-on handlebars and single seat to maintain the café racer appearance. Both the bikes share the same chassis, engine, suspension and blacked out spoke rims. The fuel tank on the cafe racer is just 12.5-litres while the Interceptor comes with a fuel capacity of 13.7-litres. At 202 kg the Interceptor is heavier by 4 kg than the Continental GT.

Both the bike will share the same 648cc, parallel twin, air-cooled, fuel injected engine. The engine churns out 47 BHP of power and 52 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that comes with a slipper clutch. The bikes are expected to be launched with a price of Rs. 3 lakhs in India and will take on the Harley-Davidson Street Rod, Kawasaki Vulcan S and Harley-Davidson Street 750.
