Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate edition comes packed with a host of visual upgrades

Land Rover has taken the wraps off the new ‘Ultimate Edition’ of the Range Rover Sport SVR. Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division has given the SUV bespoke touches which further sets it apart from the standard model. We can expect it to be launched in the country sometime later this year.

Design-wise, the new Sport SVR Ultimate edition features a body colour carbon fibre bonnet and new lettering on the bonnet & boot. In addition, it gets a set of newly designed 22-inch five split-spoke forged alloy wheels, red brake calipers, white accents on the front fenders, a black contrasting roof, and blacked-out badges along with a white surround. The mirror caps and the grille gets all-black treatment. Moving inside the special edition, it boasts of SVR-embossed performance seats finished in perforated Windsor leather. Other feature highlights include illuminated door sills, metal gear shift paddles in a black finish, and chrome-finished SV bespoke B-pillar badges.

Performance-wise, the new Special edition gets the same 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that does duty on the Range Rover Sport SVR. The motor is capable of returning 540 bhp power and 700 Nm peak torque while being mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV can further achieve a top speed of 280 kmph. It can also do a sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.

The Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate is available in a total of three color options namely Ligurian Black Satin, Maya Blue Gloss, and Marl Grey Gloss. Besides this, the Marl Grey Gloss and Maya Blue Gloss color shade come with glass flake particles. The automaker is also offering personalization options so that customers are able to make their SUV even more exclusive.
