The Ministers of Rajasthan Government have received their advance new year gift as Mahindra XUV700 will be their official vehicle in 2022. The Minister in-charge of the State Motor Garage department, Rajendra Singh Yadav, has chosen this SUV for the entire Council of Ministers including the Chief Minister. The state government will place a order of 30 units of the XUV700 to Mahindra which will be worth around Rs 9 Crores. The Ministers will be chauffeured in the range-topping AX 7 Diesel 7-Seater Automatic 4x4 Luxury Pack variant which is expected to cost around Rs 27 Lakhs.
It has been learnt that Ministers have even sought the help of astrologers for the number of their new SUV. Upon further inquiring, it was known that all the Mahindra XUV700 SUVs reserved for the Ministers will have their number starting from nine (9). The Ashok Gehlot-led Congress Government currently has 20 Cabinet Rank Ministers and 10 Ministers of State, a few of them with Independent Charge of various departments. Mahindra XUV700 Luxury Pack variant comes loaded with a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Latest Gen Electronic Stability Program (ESP) Suite, Intelli Control, 18-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, Leatherette Seats, Dual Zone Climate Control, Reverse Camera and Smart Air Filter Technology.
In addition, the Luxury pack comprises of several features such as 3D Audio with 12 Speakers by Sony, 360° Surround View with Blind-view, Wireless Charging and Electric Smart Door Handles. Mahindra XUV700 waiting period presently ranges from 7-19 months depending upon the variant, color and city. The range-topping AX7 trim with Luxury Pack, which is selected for the Ministers, attracts the highest waiting period of 19 months.
