BS6 BMW 310 twins can be pre-booked at an EMI plan starting from Rs 4500 this month onwards.

BMW Motorrad India is likely to launch the BS6 versions of G 310 R and G 310 GS sometime possibly next month in the Indian market. The 310 twins are one of the most affordable motorcycles from the German brand. They were and will be built in India at TVS’s Hosur manufacturing plant. Pre-bookings of the motorcycles have already started from this month onwards.  Furthermore, BMW Motorrad has introduced attractive EMI offers for those who plan to purchase the upcoming 310 Twins ahead of launch.

According to the offer, if customers pre-book either of the two motorcycles ahead of launch, then they will be eligible for an EMI plan that starts from Rs 4500. Perspective buyers can also get their loans pre-approved before the launch at an attractive interest rate. Interested clients can get pre-bookings of the motorcycles done either through the official website or by visiting the nearest dealership.

BMW G 310 R is a naked motorcycle while BMW G 310 GS is an adventure tourer. In comparison to the BS4 models, both the motorcycles will get minor cosmetic updates. Upfront, the 310 twins will get LED headlamps integrated with LED DRLs. The outlook of the motorcycles will be made to look sharper as compared to their predecessors. The instrument cluster is also likely to be updated. Alloy wheels and the frame will get a shade of orange or red colour. Furthermore, both the motorcycles will get a revised exhaust pipe, while the front USD forks will continue to get the golden shade.

Both these bikes will be powered by a BS6 compliant 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine churns out 34 bhp power and 28 Nm torque while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Their price will be announced during the launch. However, we can expect the BS6 versions of both the bikes to be slightly lower than their BS4 counterparts. The BS4 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS were priced at Rs 2.99 lakhs and Rs 3.49 lakhs (ex-showroom), respectively. Once launched, the 310 twins will rival the likes of KTM Duke 390 and KTM ADV 390 and their segments.
