“We are determined to provide Indian customers with quality products in EVs. The idea is to manage all the production in India and cater to the growing market. We aim to manufacture at least 40,000 units in the first phase of the plant launch, and capacity will easily be taken up to 100,000 in two years,” as commented by Sameer Moidin, Co-Founder & Partner, One Moto India.

Talking about the new manufacturing plant, it will be spread across 15 acres of area. Furthermore, it will have major automation integration with additional semi-robotics and the latest manufacturing machinery to produce cutting-edge products. Besides this, the facility will produce a One-Moto fleet along with two Indian fleets that will be introduced by Ellysium Automotives who is currently promoting One-Moto in India.

“With the new manufacturing plant, we not only aim to serve our customers in India but also export vehicles to other global markets which One Moto is developing.  There is tremendous opportunity to create jobs in the state of Telangana not just at the manufacturing facility, but also in rural areas. We will be also setting up skill development programs with the state since EV after-sales service requires a specialized skill. We look forward to working with the state Government which has been putting all its efforts towards promoting e-Mobility. The plant will create almost 500 direct & 2000 indirect jobs in the state. This development will serve larger purposes in all directions for the holistic development of the electric mobility ecosystem,” as commented by Shubhankar Chaudhry- CEO, One Moto India.

One-Moto launched its new e-scooter Electa at the EV India Expo in Greater Noida recently. Furthermore, the brand has already brought three e-scooters for Indian customers since its launch in the Indian market back in November 2021. Having said that, the three e-scooters are Byka, Electa, and Commuta. These e-scooters are high-speed premium products that feature amazing design and high-end quality.
