Ola S1 and S1 Pro e-scooter comes with an EMI Plan starting at Rs 2,999 and Rs 3199 respectively

Ola Electric launched its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in the country last month. The former is priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). While the latter is retailed at Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom). Following this, the bookings had also commenced at a token amount of Rs 499. From today onwards, customers can purchase the Ola e-scooters from the comfort of their home via the company’s official website at an EMI plan starting at Rs 2,999. Besides this, the window will remain open until stock lasts. All the customers who purchase the scooter now will get the delivery done on priority basis once the deliveries begin in India in October. 


Ola S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters: How to buy?

In case you have not booked the e-scooter earlier, just head to Ola Electric’s official website. Get your reservations done at a token amount of Rs 499. Following this, you will be given a choice to choose from the two variants - S1 and S1 Pro and the 10 vibrant color options. Besides this, Ola Electric is offering a host of financing options for the customers. The company has tied up with banks and financial institutions for the same. The EMI plan starts at Rs 2,999 for the S1 trim and Rs 3199 for the S1 Pro trim. In case the customer does not want to opt for the financing option, he or she can pay an advance of Rs 20,000 for Ola S1 and Rs 25,000 for Ola S1 Pro. Furthermore, the customer can pay the remaining amount once the scooter is invoiced. Also, the advance and the down-payment amount is 100 percent refundable as long as the customer cancels the booking before the e-scooter is shipped from the Ola Future Factory. The brand has partnered with ICICI Lombard to offer vehicle insurance. Customers can insure their electric scooter via the Ola and Ola Electric Apps. 


Ola S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters: Features and Color Options

In terms of features, both S1 and S1 Pro come equipped with a 7-inch TFT instrument console with touchscreen function, all-LED lighting 12-inch wheels, disc brakes, and single-sided suspension. The instrument console comes with a host of in-built features like 3 GB RAM, Mood display, Speakers for music, Cruise Control, Navigation, Hill Hold Control, Reverse Assist, Smartphone pairing, Voice-Assist, and many more. The main feature highlight is the unlock feature. Now you can unlock your e-scooter as soon as you approach it. The Ola S1 is available in a total of five color options, while the S1 Pro is sold in ten exterior paint schemes.


Ola S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters: Engine, Performance, and Charging Time

The Ola S1 scooter gets a 2.98 kWh battery pack. The e-scooter can achieve 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds along with a top speed of 90 kmph. Besides this, it comes with a range of 121 km. The Ola S1 Pro, on the other hand, comes packed with a 3.97 kWh battery pack. It can accelerate to 40 kmph from standstill in merely 3 seconds with a top speed of 115 kmph. The top-end S1 Pro features an additional 'Hyper' drive mode. Both e-scooters generate identical top power of 11.4 bhp and 58 Nm peak torque. Moving on, S1 and S1 Pro can be fully charged in 4.48 hours and 6.30 hours, respectively, with a 750W portable charger using a 5A socket at home or office.
