Ola Electric, one of India’s largest electric vehicle manufacturers, has launched the Network Partner Program to accelerate EV adoption across the country, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. The EV maker announced on Thursday that it is planning to establish 10,000 service and sales outlets across India by the end of next year.

Ola is aiming to expand its reach to both smaller towns and cities. Under this new program, Ola Electric has already onboarded 625 partners and is now looking to forge partnerships with 1,000 new partners before this festive season. The brand is planning to team up with 10,000 partners by the end of 2025 to expand its sales footprint. As of now, the company owns nearly 800 company stores, and this number will increase to 1,800 touchpoints.

The electric vehicle manufacturer is planning to sell the upcoming Ola Roadster electric motorcycle from the new outlets. Till date, the company has been working on the direct-to-customer (D2C) model, and it used to deliver the products straight to the buyer's location, and even the product was also serviced at the same place. The brand then came up with new physical service centres and stores.

The Chairman and MD of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal, said, “The Network Partner Program will further amplify the benefits of our D2C network as it requires limited capital investment from partners and can be scaled up really fast. While the company-owned stores will be the anchors of our sales and service network, this program will be instrumental in expanding the EV footprint deeper into the urban and rural markets. We will continue to expand and invest in our front-end network to accelerate EV adoption to #EndICEAge, and by the end of next year, we will have 10,000 network partners across the country.”

Ola Electric currently offers six electric scooters in India at an attractive price point. These include premium offerings S1 Pro, S1 Air, S1 X+, and S1 X range comprising 3 kWh, 2 kWh, and 4 kWh. The auto giant recently revealed the Roadster motorcycle series in India, which comprises the Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro.
