The 2020 Honda Jazz facelift will be launched in the coming few weeks in India.

Honda Cars India has commenced the pre-bookings for the 2020 Jazz hatchback at a token amount of Rs 21,000 in the country. It can be either booked at all the company authorized dealerships or via ‘Honda from Home’ online platform by paying Rs 5,000 on Honda's website. The 2020 Honda Jazz facelift is expected to be launched in the upcoming few weeks in the Indian market. Sporting cosmetic updates at the outside and new features inside, the new hatchback will rival the likes of Maruti Baleno, Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza and Tata Altroz in India.

The 2020 Honda Jazz facelift will flaunt a new high gloss black front grille with chrome accents. In addition, there will be newly designed LED headlamps with DRLs and LED fog lamps upfront. The front and rear bumpers have been restyled too along with the signature LED tail-lamp cluster. As for features, the new Honda Jazz will come loaded with a plethora of premium features such as Cruise Control, Smart Entry and Push Button Start/Stop system. It will also debut a couple of first-in-segment features in the form of One Touch Electric Sunroof and steering-wheel-mounted unique dual mode “Paddle Shift” option for CVT variants. For those asking, the CVT automatic variant with paddle-shifters accounted for 70 percent of the total sales of Jazz last year.

Speaking about the new Jazz, Mr Rajesh Goel, Senior Vice President and Director, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “We are excited to open the bookings for the new Jazz which is slated for launch later this month. The new Jazz with its stylish sporty new look, outstanding interior package and segment-unique One Touch Electric Sunroof will appeal to the customers who are looking for the absolute best in the segment. Over the years, we observed Jazz customers demonstrating strong preference towards petrol powertrains. Responding to this trend, we have decided to offer the New Jazz exclusively in petrol engine in both Manual and CVT variants." Under the hood, the 2020 Honda Jazz facelift would have a BS6 compliant 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine with both manual and CVT automatic transmission.
