Nissan Magnite XV Executive trim will be positioned between the XL and XV trims

Nissan is planning to launch a new variant of Nissan Magnite dubbed XV Executive in the country. A document regarding the same has been leaked online. This new trim will be positioned between the XL and XV trims. Besides this, it will get about Rs 52,000 worth of additional features over the XL trim. Talking about the price, we can expect it to fall in the range of Rs 6.86 lakhs - Rs 8.86 lakhs (ex-showroom).

As per the leaked document, the Magnite XV Executive trim will get additional features like a rearview mirror, 16-inch alloy wheels, and silverside cladding on doors. In comparison to the higher-spec XV trim, this new variant might miss out on bits like LED DRLs, fog lamps, and keyless entry & go. In terms of features inside the cabin, the new variant will come equipped with features like adjustable driver seat height, a rear centre armrest with cupholders, seatback pockets, ISOFIX child seat mount, and 60:40 split seats. There will also be a new 9.0-inch touchscreen unit compatible with Android Auto and pre-installed Google Maps. It will further support a split-screen view and video playback.

Performance-wise, the new XV Executive variant will get two petrol engines. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol will churn out a top power of 71 bhp and a peak torque of 96 Nm while being mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit, on the other hand, will generate 99 bhp power and 160 Nm peak torque. Transmission duty here will be taken care of by either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

As of now, Nissan Maginte is offered in a total of five trims namely XE, XL, XV, XV Premium, and XV Premium(O). The vehicle falls in the price range of Rs 5.71 lakhs - Rs 10.15 lakhs (ex-showroom).
