Nissan, a Japanese automaker which also owns Nissan Pvt. Ltd. has announced a price hike of up to 5% across all its models for the Indian market. The revised prices will be applicable for all Nissan and Datsun car models from January 2020.

The Managing Director of the Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd, Rakesh Srivastava said “Nissan is committed to offer innovative and exciting products under the Nissan and Datsun brand with the best value proposition to its customers in India. In the current challenging market conditions, we are constrained to increase the price of all Nissan and Datsun models due to increased costs. The proposed price increase will be effective from January 2020.”

Recently, Nissan India launched its ‘Red Weekends’ scheme that offers lucrative offers on Nissan and Datsun car models.

Under this scheme a customer can avail a cash discount of up to Rs. 40,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 40,000 and corporate discount of up to Rs 10,000 on the Nissan Kicks SUV.

Nissan Kicks is being dubbed as an Intelligent SUV from the company that is available in four diesel variants which are XE, XL, XV and XV Premium.

The diesel variant of the SUV starts at a price tag of Rs. 9.89 lacs for the base model and goes up to Rs. 13.69 lacs for the top-spec model.

The SUV is also available in the petrol variants that are XL that costs Rs. 9.55 lacs and the other being the XV that has a price tag of Rs.10.95 lacs.

The scheme is also helpful for those who want to upgrade from two-wheelers to the brand-new Datsun Redi-GO on attractive option without having to exchange their two-wheeler.

Through the ‘Red Weekends’ scheme customers can win attractive gifts like instant gift vouchers costing up to Rs 1 Crore that are valid on all Nissan and Datsun car models.
