The new prices will be effective from April 1, 2018.

The company has announced that its new cars and SUVs will now see a price rise of 2 percent. Datsun models will be affected by this hike as well. The price hike will come into effect from April 1, 2018, and the company has stated that it had to raise prices due to rising input costs.

Jerome Saigot, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd said, “Due to rising input costs, we will be increasing the price of our Nissan and Datsun cars with effect from April 1, 2018. We are confident that our cars will continue to offer excellent value and choice to our customers.”

Nissan in India sells the Micra, Micra Active hatchbacks, the Sunny sedan and the Terrano SUV, and the Datsun brand sells the Go and Redigo hatchbacks, and the Go+ MPV.
