KTM Duke 125 Side Profile

There have been a lot of leaks and a lot of missed predictions but still there is no official word on when will KTM bring the Duke 390 ADV to India and now fans hope the Austrian brand to launch the adventure tourer in India this year. So what options do the KTM Duke owners have as of now? As you know, Duke is the street naked version from KTM and that does not make it ideal for highway cruises or adventure trail runs. However, the Duke is a very capable bike in itself. Therefore, Autologue Designs decided to address this gap in the market and the Pune custom house has now brought forth a bolt-on kit for KTM Duke 125, Duke 200 and last generation Duke 390 bikes that aim to make the naked bikes more touring friendly. The kit has been named Xplorer and the prices for the same start at Rs. 13,500 and go all the way to Rs. 20,500.

The new touring kit has been designed with a lot of attention to detail and since the kits are bolt-on in nature, not only can they be attached and removed relatively very easily, they also do not affect the functioning of the bike in any manner thereby keeping the warranty of your Duke intact. The Rs. 20,500 kit is the full version of the Xplorer line-up and after installing this, a normal street naked Duke becomes a full-on highway touring and adventure bike. Although the adventure part may not hold that true as the Xplorer body kit brings no changes to the suspension of the bike, but one can always take initiative themselves and make appropriate changes to the suspension to make the bike adventure friendly.

As we have already stated the top of the line Xplorer kit costs Rs.20,500, but the custom house also sells the parts individually and the fairing kit, tank extension with visor and bracket for relocation are priced at Rs. 13,500, while the tail panels cost Rs. 3,000, and the bash plate costs Rs.4,000. The Xplorer kit for Duke models also comes with a an adjustable front visor, tail panels, semi body fairing, new engine bash plate. The entire setup does not bring any tweaks to the bike apart from the aforementioned additions.

This Xplorer kit is a very good option for people who do not want to spend a lot of money but still want functional changes on their bike. The kit is not only very practical and resourceful, it also enhances the looks of the bike it is fitted on to. The prices for the kit are also pretty low and overall delivers good value for money. Not just the Duke 125, 200 and the last gen 390, Autologue also has such body kits for new 390 Duke, 250 Duke and Bajaj Dominar 400.
