Here is a detailed breakdown of the feature list of the Comfortline and Highline variants on the new Volkswagen Passat.

Volkswagen has gone ahead and launched an updated Passat. The new Passat uses the turbo diesel engine and comes in two variants – Comfortline and Highline.

The prices for the eight-generation Passat in India are: (all-prices ex-showroom, Delhi)

Comfortline: ₹29.99 lakh

Highline: ₹32.99 lakh

The four-cylinder engine in the Passat makes 177hp and 350Nm of torque, this engine is paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox. The eight-gen Passat weighs 70kg less than its previous generation model owing to the all-new platform it is based on. The luxury sedan from Volkswagen takes on the Accord, Camry and Superb in India.
