New Range Rover Evoque Launched In India

Jaguar Land Rover have announced the arrival of their Next Generation Evoque in India. Prices for New Range Rover Evoque start at Rs  54.95 lakhs (ex-showroom). The British marquee has also stated that deliveries of the diesel powered Range Rover Evoque 2020 have already begun while the petrol driven Range Rover Evoque delivery date would be announced sometime later.  

Introduced in two variants, Next-Generation Range Rover Evoque S price is Rs 54.94 lakhs (ex-showroom) while Range Rover Evoque R-Dynamic SE now comes at Rs 59.85 lakhs (ex-showroom) India. The premium SUV comes equipped with a BS6 complaint 2.0 litre petrol and a 2.0 litre diesel engine that are matted a 9-speed automatic transmission. Coming to petrol first, this particular model comes fitted with a 2.0 litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol unit that features a 48V mild-hybrid system and produces a maximum power out of 249 bhp. Meanwhile the diesel model is equipped with a 2.0 litre, four-cylinder turbo-charged diesel unit that is good for 180 bhp.

With an entirely new-look, the 2020 Range Rover Evoque stands to provide sleek LED headlamps followed by a new mesh grille, revised front & rear bumpers, flush fitted door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels and revised LED taillamps. All-in-all these exterior design tweaks will remind you of its elder sibling, the Range Rover Velar that has a lot of similarities with this SUV. The interior of Range Rover Evoque too has been updated. Depending upon the variant selected, it caters to a 10-inch touchscreen system that offers Android Auto & Apple CarPlay along with navigation, a panoramic sunroof, a fully digital instrument console, two-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, 16-way adjustable seats to just name a few. Safety features on-board the Evoque include a pedestrian airbag, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, six airbags, emergency brake assist, hill ascent & decent assist, traction control, rear camera, and stability control.
