2020 Mahindra Thar continues to dominate news in India since its launch on October 2, 2020. The new Thar is certainly an upgrade on its predecessor in terms of design, features, and powertrains. The SUV is certainly an excellent choice, but the buyers would still like to customize it with after-market accessories. Now, the manufacturer has revealed an exhaustive list of accessories on top of the ones that were officially existing over the last couple of months. Though the previous options were not so many which is why seeing the excessive demand of the vehicle, Mahindra has gone ahead an updated the list.
The official website now has listed quite a wide range of accessories with the Dark Lord Package quite standing out. Worth Rs 25,890, it consists of 8 exterior blacked-out elements like front bumper & grille cladding, headlamps & mirror appliques, bumper air dam kit, arch cladding among many others. Further, the manufacturer had made available side body decals for the New-Gen Thar. This would give the consumers a chance to add chrome influence on the SUV while being more durable than third-party aftermarket accessories. The whole chrome package can set the buyers back by Rs 3260 and it comes with a one-year warranty.
Moving on to accessories for the interior, one can look forward to a 4-channel amplifier, speaker components sourced from Vibe, and subwoofer to improve the music listening experience. Additionally, one can buy a roof-mounted speaker for the second row of seats. For lower-end trims, the automaker is giving the option of a double-din stereo head unit.
Safety accessories on offer include heads up display, reverse camera, and front parking sensors. For body protection, there are dual tone covers that occupy half and full portion of the vehicle. There is also a set of all-black 16 inch-alloy wheels at the cost of Rs 10,625. Separate seat upholstery, floor mats, magnetic sunshades, vinyl steering-wheel cover, and stainless-steel scuff plate are the other add-ons available on the website.
For the adventure seekers, there is hardware equipment like exhaust jack, shovel, winch on offer. These would come in handy for the consumers who love to explore the harsh and tough terrains with the Next-Gen Mahindra Thar. Also, camping accessories sourced from Kingcamp are available for purchase.
