Jeep has finally launched the much-anticipated Meridian at a starting price of Rs 29.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). The premium SUV comes packed with best-in-class features. The bookings for the new Jeep Meridian are open now at a token amount of Rs 50,000. Interested buyers can get the bookings done by either visiting the official website or by directly visiting the Jeep dealerships across the country.
The design of the all-new three-row SUV is inspired by the iconic Jeep Grand Cherokee. The SUV is offered in a total of two trims namely Limited and Limited (O). Dimension-wise, the three-row SUV gets 840 mm between the first and second row, and 780 mm between the second and third row. Furthermore, it comes with 481-litres of boot space while seating five people and 170-litres of boot space when all seven seats are occupied. The design bits include automatic headlamps and diamond-cut dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels to name a few.

The cabin of the new Jeep Meridian boasts of Emperador Brown leather seats. It comes equipped with a plethora of features. These include a multi-zone climate control system, a third-row AC-evaporator unit, and thermo-acoustic cabin insulation. The SUV also features a UConnect5 that offers a host of connectivity & class-leading infotainment features. Talking about the Limited(O) variant, it gets additional features like a two-tone roof, a dual-pane sunroof, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, a powered lift-gate with programmable height, and obstruction detection.

Performance-wise, the new Meridian is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that churns out a top power of 169 bhp at 3750rpm and a peak torque of 350 Nm between 1,750-2,500 rpm. Moving on, Jeep Meridian is among the most fuel-efficient SUVs in the D-segment as it delivers a fuel economy of up to 16.2 kmpl (ARAI certified). Besides these, the three-row SUV can go from 0-100 kmph in just 10.8 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 198 km/h.
