The Jaguar I-Pace is an all-electric performance SUV from the British automaker

Jaguar Land Rover has added a new Black model to its I-Pace range. The automaker has commenced the bookings of the new I-Pace Black in the country today. The new edition of the all-electric performance SUV, Jaguar I-Pace comes packed with a wealth of technology to make your every journey simple and enjoyable. As of now, not many details have been revealed yet for the India-spec I-Pace Black. However, going by the one in the global market, we get a slight idea of what all features the India-bound model might get.


In terms of design, the exclusive new addition to the I-Pace range gets the black pack and a fixed panoramic sunroof. The front fascia of the vehicle flaunts premium LED headlights with signature DRLs. On the sides, it features 19-inch, 5-split spoke, diamond-turned gloss dark grey contrast wheels. Talking about the color options, the car is offered in Aruba and Farallon Pearl black premium metallic paints. 

The cabin of the new Jaguar I-Pace Black boasts of ebony leather sports seats. It further gets a gloss black interior that is further complemented by an ebony headliner. The feature highlights include interactive driver display, Meridian sound system, all-new navigation system, automatic map updates, a Pivi pro infotainment unit with Apple car play & Android Auto connectivity, secure tracker, and many more. You will also get 12-way electric memory front seats with 2-way manual headrests.

Performance-wise, the I-Pace Black will remain identical to its standard sibling. It will get the same twin motor/ 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery powertrain that churns out 395 bhp power and 696 Nm peak torque. This particular trim is expected to achieve a top speed of 200 kmph. It will further be able to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in merely 4.8 seconds. Talking about the charging time. The SUV will take 8.5 hours to charge from 0-100 percent with an 11 kW AC charger.
