The ultra-luxury saloon is powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has just launched the second-generation Ghost saloon in the Indian market. The second-generation ultra luxury car is claimed by the British manufacturer to be the most technologically advanced model to emerge from their production line. Rolls Royce Ghost deliveries in India are expected to start by early 2021 while it is priced at a staggering Rs 6.95 crores (ex-showroom), India.

The new Rolls-Royce Ghost comes loaded with new LED and laser headlights with 600-metre illumination range plus. Being based on the famous Rolls-Royce proprietary aluminium spaceframe architecture that underpins other models like Phantom and the Cullinan, the 2020 Rolls Royce Ghost gets a new Planar Suspension System. At the front, we have a down-lit Pantheon grille that lights up Rolls-Royce iconography and 20 LEDs under the top of the radiator grille.

Talking about the interior, the wood sets come in an open-pore finish with the British automaker developing unique finishes in the form of Obsidian Ayous and Dark Amber for the new Ghost sedan. The door can be opened electrically now. With the focus on hygiene and sanitisation in the wake of COVID-19, the second-gen model comes equipped with a new and advanced micro-environment purification system. The audio system is powerful with a 1300W output thanks to a powerful amplifier with 18 channels.

Talking about performance, the new Ghost sedan comes with a 6.75-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine. The car delivers massive 563 bhp of maximum power and 850 Nm of peak torque. The car comes with an all-wheel drivetrain and all-wheel steering. The massive 2.5-tonne luxury machine can accelerate from zero to 100kmph in just 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 kmph, the highest the car is allowed to go.
