Hyundai India had launched the new-gen Creta last year in March. Since its launch, the SUV has managed to hold its position as the country’s top-selling SUV. Talking about the sales numbers, about 51 percent of customers have bought top-end SX & SX(O) trims. Over 60 percent of the sales have come from the diesel variants while the automatic transmission variants account for 20 percent of sales.

The all-new Creta comes equipped with a plethora of segment-first features. These include a 10.2-inch HD infotainment system integrated with BlueLink, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, ventilated front seats, in-built Air Purifier, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, blue ambient lighting, driver rear-view monitor and smartphone wireless charger among many others. The SUV also offers Smart technology features like an electronic parking brake with auto hold and paddle shifters.

“All-new CRETA has set new benchmarks in the Indian Auto Industry and has become the most loved SUV in India taking the pole position month after month in this highly competitive SUV space. This exemplary feat is a testimony of Hyundai’s manufacturing excellence and class-leading features that we offer to our discerning customers. As we move ahead, I am confident that our smart Indian customers will continue to choose Hyundai cars that are redefining benchmarks across segments,” as commented by Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd.

2020 Hyundai Creta houses three engines under the bonnet - a 1.5 litre petrol, 1.4 litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5 litre diesel engine. This particular engine can be availed with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Besides these, there is also a high-performance 1.4L Kappa T-GDi engine that belts out a maximum power of 140bhp and a peak torque of 242Nm while being linked to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
