Tata introduces dual tone paint in various schemes on Nexon.

Tata Nexon has recently come to occupy the second place in the sales charts in the segment. The company has revealed that it will present dual tone paint for the Nexon. However, the new dual tone paint will only be offered on the top models of the sub-4 meter compact SUV. The new paint scheme by the company brings the following 5 shades to the Nexon -- Moroccan Blue, Calgary White, Etna Orange, Vermont Red, and Glasgow Grey. Talking about the roof shades on offer, then there are two options -- Ivory White and Sonic Silver. The Sonic Silver shade is on offer with Moroccan Blue, Calgary White, Etna Orange and Vermont Red colors and the Ivory White shade is on offer with Moroccan Blue, Etna Orange, Vermont Red and Glasgow Grey.

Tata Nexon’s top models are XZ+ and XZA+ and they are available in two engine options. The first option is a 1.2L 3 cylinder turbopetrol unit rated to deliver 108  Bhp and 170 Nm. While the other option is a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbodiesel unit rated to deliver 108 Bhp and 260 Nm. As far as the transmission is concerned, the Indian maker offers a 6 speed manual gearbox and a 6 speed AMT on the top models. Nexon is a front wheel drive SUV that offers a ground clearance of 210 mm meaning that the car is equipped to take on Indian roads with relative ease. Tata had also introduced driving modes with the Nexon that alter the output of the vehicle accordingly. The drive modes on offer on the Nexon are City, Sport and Economy.

Tata launched the Nexon in India in September 2017 and since then it has been bringing in good sales numbers for the company. The sales for Tata Nexon have stabilized at around 4,000-5,000 units per month. The recent feather in the hat of Tata Nexon came when it received a 5 star rating in the crash test rating conducted by Global NCAP. Tata also capitalized on the same and ran adverts that rightly presented Nexon as first India-made sub compact SUV to score a full rating on the Global NCAP crash test. Not to mention that the build quality of the Tata Nexon is also very sturdy and the customers are also appreciating the same. The standard safety features on the Tata Nexon include twin airbags, ABS+EBD, seat belt reminder and parking sensors. The top models mentioned above also add a rear parking camera.

The value for money offering along with the feature loaded interiors and the safety rating of the Tata Nexon make it a great deal for the customers, and the sales numbers show just that. Now that the company has introduced a dual tone scheme in the SUV, it should offer even more choices to the customers.
