So much so, that they are ready to shell out big amount for a unique number and in some cases the registration number is more expensive than the vehicle itself. This time around it is a proprietor of a leading pharmaceuticals distribution company in Thiruvananthapuram spending Rs. 31 lakhs for the number KL 01 CK 1.

The Regional Transport Officer held the auction of the number and the bidding started at Rs. 500/-. The bidding included seven steps and it included multiples of Rs. 5 lakhs. K.S.
