Prices for the Skoda Rapid Style trim with added equipment is likely to be higher by around ₹35,000 than the outgoing car.

Skoda is set to shake things up in the market a little with the launch of the facelifted Skoda Rapid. The car’s new features include rain sensing wipers, a reverse camera and 16-inch alloy wheels that are now part of the standard equipment list.

Other features include electric folding wing mirrors, power windows and a remote boot release. Higher variants get the inclusion of cruise control, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights and footwell lighting. The Rapid is powered by the 1.5-litre unit, which is good for 110hp, and it also gets the 1.6-litre petrol motor. The overall design has taken a sharper turn, most evidently seen in the bonnet. The inside features updated upholstery and a new black and light brown colour scheme. The infotainment system is compatible with MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 

Prices for the Skoda Rapid Style trim with added equipment is likely to be higher by around ₹35,000 than the outgoing car. The Skoda Rapid is currently priced from Rs 8.27 lakh for the base petrol trim; while the diesel range starts at ₹9.49 lakh.
