The new car is more practical, comfortable and luxurious than the earlier gen Countryman.

The petrol engine, which sits under the hood of the Cooper S and Cooper S JCW Inspired, is a 2.0-litre TwinPower turbo unit that makes 192hp and 280Nm.
The diesel, which powers the Cooper SD, is a 2.0-litre motor that makes 190hp and 400Nm. The engines send power via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. India will only get the front-wheel-drive versions of the car. You also get the latest iDrive infotainment system with a touchscreen.
