MG Motors to increase North East Indian Presence with opening 2 more centers by 2020 end.

MG Motors has underlined its commitment to the North-Eastern Indian consumers with the recent announcement of its showroom at NH-37 in Guwahati, Assam. This is just the beginning of MG Motors foray into North-East India, they have revealed plans to have 2 more centers operational by the end of 2020. The Guwahati Showroom is built over an area of 3000 sq.ft, the look and feel of showroom reflect MG Motors futuristic approach while imbibing the rich British Heritage. Further, there is a  10,000 sq. ft modern service facility for service related requirements of MG customers. With the opening of the Guwahati outlet, the Bristish Marquee now has a total of 206 centers in their kitty and plan to increase its retail presence across India to 250 facilties.

Commenting on the inauguration, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer – MG Motor India, said, “The Guwahati showroom marks MG’s entry in the North-East. Partnering with Mr. Rishabh Himmatsinghka will help us further reinforce our brand philosophy and deliver superlative customer delight in line with the demands and requirements of new-age customers in Assam. As a sign of our strong commitment to the region, we have identified two more regional markets already and will be looking to open additional centers in these catchment areas by the end of 2020.” 

Further, the Guwahati Showroom design follows MG Motors brand’s philosophy of “Emotional Dynamism”, which is a unique blend of contemporary brand elements and slick colour palettes. The exterior of the showroom is a captivating sight with the front fascia of MG’s dealerships adopting a unique façade grill signifying the confluence of the sky and the earth. Interior, the MG store exemplifies the brand’s experience-first approach aiming to captivate the consumer’s five senses with the use of intelligent and creative elements like a big LED configurator wall.
