JSW MG Motor India has come forward to present the Cyberster EV Roadster launching at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This revolutionary model will catch MG's premium sub-brand MG Select, which will focus on redefining the luxury electric vehicle segment in India.

Classic Inspiration with Futuristic Flair

A modern incarnation of the MG B Roadster of the 1960s, where old world charm comes together with the latest in EV technology for the MG Cyberster. The MG Launch Cyberster EV Roadster is packed with butterfly doors, has a wind-cutting silhouette, and comes with fashion statements like arrow-shaped LED taillights and dual-tone 20-inch alloy wheels. These features typify the feel of a classic open top sports car while moving ahead with the future of electric mobility.

Design and Features

The exterior styling features of the Cyberster include:

• Sweptback headlights combined with smooth contoured bumpers that create a sleek nose.
• Full electronically operated scissor doors and a soft-top roof hidden behind retractable roll bars.
• An aggressive split rear diffuser optimizes aerodynamics.

Inside, the cabin drips with luxury, with a sand-brown leather-suede interior, a central infotainment display, and a digital instrument cluster. The flat-bottomed steering wheel with aluminium spokes and paddle shifters pushes this vehicle more toward a sporty side but with enough refinement to ease driving experience.

Power and Performance

A 77 kWh battery pack gives energy to the Cyberster that offers the following options to the buyer: 

• The buyer may choose into either a Dual-motor AWD setup, which produces 528 bhp and 725 Nm of torque.
• A single-motor variant is available in place of that for a more approachable price.

Besides, what will make the roadster more appealing to certain clients is the following performance:

• 3.2 seconds to reach 100 kilometers per hour.
• An outstanding capacity of up to 580 kilometers on one charge.

Retail Strategy and Launch

The first model under the MG Select brand- premium retail arm of MG for high-end consumers, will be the MG Cyberster. The new sales channel is focused to elevate the luxury EV ownership experience in the country.

The MG Select launching date will be released in 2025. It is expected to take the spotlight at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025-the futuristic electric car model.
