MG Motor India has launched the Gloster Savvy 7-seater at a sticker price of Rs 37.28 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, New Delhi) in the country. The new variant of the SUV comes with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and a BorgWarner Transfer case as standard. MG Gloster Savvy 7-seater is an addition to the range of India’s first Autonomous (Level 1) Premium SUV. It is already available in a 6-seater version and interestingly, the British brand has decided to keep the pricing of both the variants identical.
Being offered in a seven-seater (2+3+2) configuration, MG Gloster Savvy comes loaded with a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of Multi-drive modes, i-SMART technology, 64-color ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, driver seat massager, and several other exclusive features. Speaking about the launch, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India, said, “We are introducing the Gloster Savvy with a 7-seater configuration in response to requests from our customers. With this addition to the existing Gloster Savvy with 6-seater configuration, we are offering our customers the power to choose a vehicle as per their needs and preferences.”
MG Gloster Savvy, similar to the other variants in the SUV range, is powered by the same 2.0L 4-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine which develops top power of 197 bhp and peak torque of 480 Nm. The engine is linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. It can also be availed with a industry-first MY MG Shield ownership package which offers customizable services and maintenance packages from 200+ options. The standard MY MG Shield 3-3-3 package includes a warranty of three years/100,000 kilometers, three years of roadside assistance and three labour-free periodic services. MG Gloster rivals the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Isuzu MU-X in the Indian market.
