Mercedes-Benz to launch V-Class MPV in the Indian market on January 24, 2019.

After evaluating the V-Class for the Indian market for a long time, Mercedes-Benz will finally introduce the luxury MPV here. The most practical Benz will be an interesting product for the German carmaker in India since there are very limited or no choice of luxury MPVs here. Mercedes has confirmed the launch of the V-Class for January 24, 2019 in India.

The Mercedes V-Class will be introduced via the CBU route from Spain. The luxury MPV will be directly imported in India and the German luxury carmaker will eventually study the need of assembling the V-Class locally. This will totally depend on the sales and demand of such a unique product from the stable of Mercedes-Benz in India.

Powering the Mercedes V-Class will be a familiar 2.0-litre diesel engine from the same family that produces a maximum power output of 194 HP with a peak torque of 400 Nm. This engine will comply with the BS6 emission norms since it gets diesel particulate filter (DPF), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) unit and AdBlue tank.
