Mercedes has discontinued the first-gen CLA and will be replacing it with A-Class sedan. The A-Class Limousine has been unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020.
The model features next-generation telematics and the MBUX infotainment system. The A-Class sedan comes with BSVI-compliant petrol and diesel engine options. Mercedes has worked hard on the sedan’s interiors and have gone with a dual-screen layout. The buyers also get a panoramic touchscreen unit floating over the dashboard and get divided into a digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system.
The A-Class Sedan comes equipped with a 1.3L petrol engine generating 136 hp power and 200 Nm torque with a 6-speed manual transmission. There are two diesel engines on offer: a 1.5L with 116 bhp/260Nm and a 2.0L with two tunes of power in form of 150 bhp/320Nm.
Being christened as ‘Retail of the Future’ (ROTF), it will be implemented in India from Q4 2021 onwards ...
