The AMG C43 is the most popular variant of the C-Class sedan. It is being brought into India via the Completely Built-Up Units (CBU) route.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG C43 in India. The German automaker unveiled the 6th AMG model C43 in the country on November 2, 2023. The AMG C43 is the most popular model of the C-Class sedan. The AMG C43 is priced at INR 98 lakh (ex-showroom). It is being brought into India directly from the AMG Headquarters in Affalterbach via the Completely Built-Up Units (CBU) route. The new sedan is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The new 4-cylinder petrol engine has replaced the previous 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 unit. Mercedes has upgraded its portfolio in India by adding the AMG C43 and the GLE Facelift models.

The new AMG C43 comes with updated features and design, including an updated Panamericana grille. The new grille is fitted with AMG’s famous vertical slats. 

Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 Exterior Details 

Mercedes-Benz has incorporated features like an adaptive LED headlight along with DRL and large air intakes at the front. The bumper gives a sporty look to this new sedan. The side mirrors are painted in a shiny black finish. The Mercedes AMG C43 rides on AMG-specific, 18-inch alloy wheels. This new four-door sedan has quad tailpipes available at the rear.

Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 Interior Details 

Inside the cabin, the AMG C43 is not different from the C-Class Standard, but Mercedes has also added some specific additions like the AMG-specific leather-wrapped steering wheel, pedals, belts, and seats. The C43 comes equipped with features like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 64-color ambient lights, a wireless charging pad, a three-spoke steering wheel, AMG sports seats, and a 15-speaker Burmester system.

Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 Engine Specs

Powering the AMG C43 is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that churns out power of 402 bhp and peak torque of 500 Nm. For transmission duty, the engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox with idle start and stop technology. The AMG C43 comes equipped with Mercedes's 4MATIC drive system, which helps the engine transfer power to all four wheels. A new 48V mild-hybrid system is also available in the new sedan, which helps the sedan generate an additional 13 bhp of power. The AMG C43 comes with a high speed of 250 kmph, and in just 4 seconds, it can sprint from 0-100 kmph.
