McLaren Speedtail is the fastest McLaren ever. It can reach a top speed of 361 km/hr.

The British marque, McLaren has been always the front-runner when it comes to building hypercars, yes hypercars not supercars. They built the legendary F1 in 1994 and then made the widow maker, P1 then they presented the world McLaren Senna and this time they took their portfolio to a complete another level with the Speedtail.

The Speedtail design looks like it has been inspired by the GM EV1 but also gets many cues from the Senna. The cabin has three-seats, which have been inspired from F1. Both the passengers sit on either side of the driver. The dashboard gets a centre mounted display and there are another two larger displays on either side to show car related information. The car doesn’t get ORVMs but instead, come with two displays which are connected with the cameras.

Powering the hypercar is a twin-turbocharged V8 engine along with an electric hybrid system. Both these power units combine and produce more than 1000 BHP. This car is the fastest McLaren ever built, it can reach a top speed of 361 km/hr. McLaren will produce 106 units of Speedtail, and all of them have been already booked. The limited run model Speedtail is priced more than Rs. 16 crores excluding taxes. The Speedtail will be made at McLaren's production centre, Surrey from the end of 2019.
