McLaren 600LT Spider

McLaren 600LT Spider has been revealed and it has been priced at $2,56,500 (Rs. 1.82 crores) in the US. It is the fifth car in the McLaren lineup to get the Longtail nomenclature. The car looks like a typical McLaren having a similar front fascia as its siblings and an aggressive rear profile which is no different than the other models in the lineup but there are some unique elements of its own.

Powering the McLaren 600LT Spider is a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces a maximum power output of 600 PS with a peak torque of 620 Nm. This fire breathing engine is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The 600LT Spider does the 0-100 km/hr acceleration in just 2.9 seconds while the top speed is 324 km/hr.

The interior of the 600LT Spider comes treated with Alcantara and carbon fibre seats from the P1. The hardtop power retractable roof can open/close at speeds of 40 km/hr. There is a fixed rear wing to generate 100 kg of downforce at 250 km/hr. Buyers can also customise this McLaren getting the MSO Clubsport pack.
