Maruti Suzuki Wagon R has become the country's highest-selling and most successful CNG vehicle as it has crossed the domestic sales milestone of 3 Lakh units. The company has sold a total of 24 Lakh units of the hatchback in the past two decades in the Indian market. Such is the trust and popularity of the Wagon R among people that it has been a repeat buy for more than 24 percent of its buyers. Greener and safer, Maruti Wagon R is the number one factory-fitted CNG model in the Indian market.

Maruti Wagon R is available with both 1.0L and 1.2L petrol engines with both manual and Auto Gear Shift (AMT) transmission. Being engineered and built on the fifth generation HEARTECT platform, it comes loaded with a plethora of safety features including Driver airbag, ABS (antilock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution), front seat belts reminder, speed alert system and rear parking sensors are standard across variants. On the other hand, Maruti WagonR S-CNG variant comes equipped with state-of-the-art electronically controlled intelligent injection system and auto fuel changeover switch to deliver a best-in-class fuel efficiency of 33.54 km/kg and low emissions.
