Maruti Suzuki rules the Indian market with over 50 percent of market share. They dominate the top 25 sales list of cars in India. One of them is the Vitara Brezza, which is India's top selling utility vehicle and of course, the segment leader. This compact SUV has managed to sell over 4 lakh units since its launch in 2016. The Maruti Vitara Brezza has a market share of 44 percent.
When it was launched, the Brezza was offered in attractive colour options including yellow, red, blue and even dual tone colours that was appreciated by the Indian customer. Later, Maruti Suzuki introduced the AMT variant of the Brezza and yet another orange colour option that boosted the sales of the compact SUV further.
The Vitara Brezza competes directly with the Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport in the Indian market. Even thogh the Brezza is quite old in the segment and didn't even get a facelift yet, it sells the most. However, with completing its 3 years in the market, we expect Maruti to launch the facelifted version very soon with the new 1.5-litre in-house developed diesel engine which is BS6 compliant too.
