The automobile sector has indeed faced a challenging time due to the Coronavirus Lockdown. Now when the Government is easing the lockdown by removing certain restrictions, most of the automakers have restarted their operations. Maruti too resumed its operations from May 2020. In order to attract customers to the dealership, Maruti Suzuki is offering various benefits on selected Arena models. The company is offering a discount of up to Rs 42,000 on S-Presso this month. The entry-level hatchback is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 10,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 20,000 (when you sell your old car to the dealer), an insurance discount of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 2,000. This is a total benefit of up to Rs 42,000 that is being offered on S-Presso in June 2020.
Maruti launched S-Presso in September 2019. It is priced in the range of Rs 3.70 lakh - Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Maruti is now all set to launch the CNG variant of the S-Presso. Maruti S-Presso is offered in 4 variants namely Standard, LXi, VXi, and VXi+. In terms of design, the S-Presso is built on a derivative of the fifth generation HEARTECT platform, called the HEARTCT K. The hatchback comes with SUV-inspired design and styling. It features hexagonal elements on the grille, which is flanked by a pair of new wraparound headlamps, with separate chambers for headlights and indicators. The rear end gets a big boot lid and C-shaped tail lights, with a muscular bumper housing horizontal reflectors, and black bumper cladding.

Its interior boasts of dual-tone seat fabric. Other highlighted features include a 7-inch SmartPlay studio touchscreen infotainment system and a centrally mounted digital instrument cluster. In terms of safety, the hatchback comes equipped with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, pedestrian safety, seat-belt reminder, and high-speed warning. Under the skin, Maruti S-Presso is powered by a single, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67 bhp power and 90 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an AMT gearbox as an option.
