Through this campaign, Maruti aims to celebrate three decades of leadership in offering India’s most fuel-efficient cars

We all are aware that ‘Fuel Efficiency’ is one of the most important parameters while deciding to purchase a car. Keeping this in mind, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the ‘Kam se Kaam Banega’ campaign to celebrate the completion of three decades of leadership in offering the country's most fuel-efficient cars. Through this integrated campaign, the automaker aims to fulfill the need of all the Indian customers who expect maximum fuel efficiency from their vehicle without compromising on safety and performance.

Technology interventions like S-CNG, Smart Hybrid, HEARTECT platform, and K-series engines have helped the automaker to improve the drivability & safety and enhance the fuel efficiency of its offerings. Talking about each innovation in detail

S-CNG:

All the S-CNG vehicles come loaded with technologies such as intelligent injection systems and dual ECU. This technology offers enhanced safety, improved performance, and unmatched convenience to the consumers. You can find this technology in cars like WagonR, Alto, Celerio, EECO, Ertiga, and S-Presso.

Smart Hybrid:

Maruti Suzuki was the first automaker in the country to introduce hybrid technology in mass segment models. The Smart Hybrid technology is offered with a dual-battery setup that further includes a Li-ion battery. This whole setup offers Idle start-stop, brake energy regeneration, and torque assist. Besides this, it also enhances the driving performance thereby reducing fuel consumption & emission. This technology is offered across models like Vitara Brezza AT, Baleno, Ciaz, S-Cross, XL6, and Ertiga

HEARTECT platform:

Maruti Suzuki collaborated with parent organization Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan to introduce the next generation global platform “HEARTECT”. This particular platform has been designed to focus on safety. Moving on, the platform is built with advanced & high tensile steel. It further offers better NVH characteristics, the improved power-to-weight ratio for better driving performance & fuel efficiency, and better ride & handling through improved body stiffness.

K-series engines:

Talking about the K-series gasoline engine, it is offered in four different options across Maruti’s product lineup - K10B, K12M, K15B, and Nextgen Dual VVT Dual Injector K12N Engine. Along with the Idle Start-Stop system, this engine helps in achieving high fuel efficiency.

“Maruti Suzuki has always been a champion in offering fuel-efficient cars and with every new model and upgrade, the Company brings innovation and technology to address the customer’s need for better mileage and performance. According to the latest report by New Car Buyer’s Study (NCBS) as well, Indian customers are value-conscious and with spiraling fuel prices over recent months, the mileage of the car remains among the top reasons for the purchase. Our latest campaign ‘Kam se Kaam Banega’ is a testimony of our leadership and commitment towards bringing fuel-efficient and environment-friendly cars. It demonstrates our commitment to give more to our customers,” as commented by Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
